Kayak cradle for roofracks

For the quick trips where I like to leave they kayak rigged and upright on the roofracks I came up with this idea. All it is PVC water drain pipe couple of brackets and 2 bits of timber. Works a treat :thumbsup:

Just a heads up any kayaks on a box trailer with rear or front overhang is technically illegal. The load must be with in the box/tray of the trailer. As said check towball size 50mm is standard. Also you can adjust the slack with the but and bolt at the front of the coupling.

When I was out Saturday just gone someone went turtle but managed to get back on with not to much fuss.
Obviously has practiced. Not sure who it was he was a fair distance from us but we where ready to get over there asap if the first attempt failed.
