Re: Acronyms

GT is Located halfway between Fishies Beach and Mt Martha Beach North. 50m north of Benton Road, opposi...

Re: One for the diver's bucket list......

Very professional dive centre set me up with gear buddies and a dive master guide. We did the same two dives descr...

Re: Hobie outback upgrade

2nd hand Hobies hold their value well but buyers don't tend to offer more $ for the extras.
They will pay about $1800 for an outback with pre vantage seat.
Any extras that get thrown in is just a bonus for the buyer.

Re: Quick cheap easy fix for annoying hobie rudder line leak

Sick of that water that gets in your hull when sitting at anchor in choppy conditions, or in following seas?.jpg[/attachment] Looks like a good solution Keith  but I don't have that problem coz If the conditions are too choppy or I expect to have a following sea I stay home on dry land :l...

Re: $30 vantage style seat, older TI

Looks good Deefa, I tried something similar with a folding blue line boat seat on my old outback (pre vantage seat) a few years ago but it raised the seat height too much and created less stability. Also the old buckle/straps snapped 3rd time I used it, the seat fell/rocked backward the yak capsized...

Re: VHF radio info for the tuna/kingy chasers

One of the things I learned during the VHF radio AWQ course was that VHF marine repeater network along the Victorian Coast has gone live :yahoo: . Attached is a link to a map of the VHF channels and repeater locations along the Victorian coast. https://vicradiozone.files.wordpress.com/2017/12/vhf-ma...
