Some of the "better" yaks are what they call a 2+1 meaning it has the tandem setup but you also can place a seat in the middle so it can be used by one without having to worry about the bow ridding high.

I noticed it looks like your using a Carlisle paddle? I can lend you my wing paddle if you want see how it goes, pretty much standard for the Stealths. It rough as guts how do you bail water through an open hatch with waves crashing over and in through open hatch?
I know someone has done it on here, but I saw it on AKFF a few years ago, large bung plug some PVC tubing to fit snuggly into bung and your hand pump, no need to open a hatch
