Re: A stranger in the night
Thanks Pete. I had seen this and, like Eoin and Keith, would be nervous about putting a hole straight through the hull below the waterline - even if it was caked in sikaflex. It would be interesting to know if Rod would have come up with the same solution if he purchased the the ski himself or if he...

Re: What if you fish WPB and fall out?

Re: Black death grr
One thing to consider, even if you can measure a voltage at plug/head connection, if there is a weak connection causing high resistance as soon as you try to draw amps by turning head on it causes a voltage drop which may cause failure to power up. Going through a similar diagnostic issue myself. N...

Re: Best way to store Stealth Pro Fisha 550
Welcome to the club  I am sure Eoin our official Stealth man will confirm the best way to store. Until such point, I store mine like you suggest in the second picture. I have put some padding on the cross bars. http://i1074.photobucket.com/albums/w411/Nathan_Wooldridge/Kayak/20190106_182218_zps7...

Re: The Royal Commission - what it means to home loan owners
Thanks Pete. I appreciate not everyone will be in the position of <80% LTV and with that obviosuly comes the extra risk. I have only recently become fortunate to be able to class myself in this category. My point about mentioning the Non-Bank lenders is that, so long as their funding doesn't (in par...

Re: The Royal Commission - what it means to home loan owners
Hey Pete.
In terms of your comment regarding the banks being able to revert back to the old days of creaming off 2-3% more...Where do you stand on the non-bank lenders (like Reduced Home Loans) who now operate in the Home loan industry and are, in my eyes, a direct competitor to the banks?

I thought was the case. Thanks and I hope you manage to land something on the new setup. Unfortunately, my purchase above managed to hook an epic fish, but never got to see it
