Re: Smoked Salmon - my best effort yet.

An old You Tube video I made about smoking fish without a smoker. Excuse the quality, it was a while ago.

Re: Jet powered Kayak & SUP

On the Compass, I made use of the pre-existing power pole mounts. Apparently 90 mins at full power and up to 12 hours at minimal power. In the Compass I sat on 5.5 km/h at full speed with a normal fishing load. I then did some slow pedalling and it easily kicked up to 7 km/h. Cost, SLH have the base...

Re: Smoked Salmon - my best effort yet.

Just use an old deep baking tray turned upside down for a lid. Use some foil around it to fill the gaps if you need to.

Jet powered Kayak & SUP

I have one of the new Bixpy J2 electric motors to play with. Ran it on the Compass the other day and also on my new Fishing SUP. Should be a bit of fun over summer. Installation video is coming- currently beig edited, but here is a quick video of the first run of the motor on the SUP. 7je3Jo2O_QI

Re: Smoked Salmon - my best effort yet.

I have done both, if you are going to eat them fresh, then I don't worry about brine, perhaps for an hour or two at most. The brining helps preserve them for long term useage, but mine never last long enough. A bit of a rub on them does the same flavour thing, include a little maple syrup

Well that didn't work, I just added an option just for you and it cleared all the results.
