Re: Outback with sail

Would make a good winter project, i've made fittings for the Revo (V-sail setup) a couple of years ago but that got lost in time due to changes in life etc... Back to it i think :)
And thanks for the "flashback" on the thought

Re: Green Tea Anyone?

Dig, thanks for bringing up, it's amazing how many people are affected without even realising what it is...
This dark shadow is very complex and personal but does relate to people of all walks of life, irrespective of age and background.

Locally made PE outriggers?

 Just wondering if any of the local kayak manufacturers would consider moulding AI - style amas (say 2/3 of the size to suit yaks 3.5-4.5 metres)? Just blanks so the user can setup as desired? Would be an ideal off-the shelf solution for sailing on the budget, if the price braket is within rea...

Re: How much silicone?

Hope you gentlemen do find your "glory holes", sounding the bottom haha  But really, in my opinion don't sand the surfaces of the tranny nor the hull - it induces more air bubbles once the silicone is applied and the tranny is positioned. Btw - take out the sail mast reciever when ins...

Re: my pa

Just one thing i found annoying with the Railblaza Rod Holder II - the butt stop tends to flip up and if you have a long butt rod it will slip past and will get in your legs' way. Two small screws fix it for good  but then again, it's a PA, you will probably stand up and walk to your rod :o

Re: Being Anal

No worries mate. Is it anal to notice that people have changed their names? Are we becoming AKFF Daz? Not sure what triggered your apparent vivid bitter response to my stupid but nevertheless reasonable post - i'm sure you've spent many hours tinkering with your yaks, like we all have... that was w...
