Re: Running Accessories
Hi Brettrobo, Hmmmm go careful on the electrics front, almost all (including myself) that go full on installing fitted lights switches etc revert to pre-manufactured sealed/waterproof units and pulling all the wiring back out because of corrosion and water ingress. I second that, the simpler the be...

Re: Proto-type Revo Rocket Launcher
Looking good
Seeing all the engineering and design efforts that go into pimping, is impressive
I also like this arrangement: http://www.vyak.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2420 - Just add two tubes at an angle at the back of the rack to accommodate the cart and presto!

Re: need accesable storage
Awesome job 4x4 super neat
Wouldn't mind a similar drop-in for the Hobie hatch!
I'd rather a solid "bucket" rather than Hobie's softie...

Re: Calling all fitter/turners :)
IE do you have CNC mill's or lathes? If we did, I'd be sailing by now  no, we're not a fabricator, hardware/systems supplier more like... BTW my ex colleague is going to turn the mast for me, but thanks everyone for the offers - good to know we're a very capable and helpful bunch of blokes :D

Re: Calling all fitter/turners :)
What's going to stop the sail spinning/moving on that shaft? Hi Dan It will rotate, allowing more sail surface area against the side wind. Trial and error, but if it is an issue i can always limit the rotation by having shockcords running from the mounting plate edges to the front "tow" e...

Re: Heading back in
Hey swivels, how would the hinges and telescopic legs off a tripod go ? Just a thought ;) Hi Elm Telescopic masts would be awesome but at this point i'm looking at 20mm alu tubing with 2mm wall thickness... This just a concept for now, the hobie mast receiver will allow the bottom part of the sail ...
