Hi All,

I had the old post deleted and will be doing a new one soon, lately all I do is work during the week at my day job then repair kayaks all weekend, business is picking up and I have an article coming out in the summer edition of AFN kayak fishing magazine, also have completed a video for "Spooled" free online fishing magazine.

Its all happening so stay tuned lol.

Removing scratches from your hull makes the colour pop and it looks so much better

Leak testing the easy way.

Some repairs I have done, biggest ones are at the end

Ouch!! Kayk bow bent and with a hole, it was on the owners roof rack and backed into the house, house won.

Time to amputate

Then a cardboard template was made

template was transferred to plastic then cut out and lightly tacked in place, here you can see me checking angles.

The long piece at the front was extended far more than needed to improve the "line" of the bow.
all bits welded.jpg
Finished repair, much stronger than new with all plastic being 6 mm thick.
