Hi Manny,
As others have mentioned you would be more than welcome for NSC, entries are still open.
In terms of rules, safety gear etc this link will answer most questions but if you have any other feel free to post them up.

The comp is designed to give opportunity to people with a wide range of abilities, the species included mean you can stay in close and still get points on the board.
The Best Catch comp is only open to tuna and kings to reward the guys doing the hard yards but the teams and individual comps can be won with regular bread and butter species.
As far as P2 goes, like anything its a case of building up your stamina as you go and doing it in the company of others where possible
Cheers,
Eoin

Hi Eoin,
Thanks so much for providing the NSC info.
I think I may have left my run too late.
Trying to buy all the fishing gear, safety equipment, booking accomodation and getting time off work will be a challenge.
But, there's still a slight chance for me to join NSC. It will come down to whether I need to travel interstate for work that week.
Here hoping to get to Portland that weekend and see you guys.
Cheers,
Manny
