Lures for EP's ????

Post by 7LEAFCLOVER »

Hey guys I wandered up the Tarwin not too long ago, I saw plenty of rises and fish activity along the snaggy areas.
I threw countless plastics and hardbodies at what I'm %100 certain were EP, I used SX40's, Gulp minnows, and squidgy critters, no luck...
Any help would be great!!!

cast as tight as you can to structure near where they boil, low light is very advantageous, use light fluro leader and quality lures. i really like to use luckycraft Sammy 65s, smith towadis and OSP bent minnows i also use small gurgler flies but that's a whole new level.

I like the Gekka shiranui lures - cast - twitch - long pause - twitch, works well down that way
