I generally find a dry bag the easiest. Just put your gear inside, roll it up with a bit of air and clip onto a leash, eye or bungee. Aldi have a great set of three bags they sell when they have their fishing gear.

Yeah the wind was from the east and the swell was rolling straight through. The breakers weren't huge but certainly big enough when sitting on the yak.

There must be a bommie or something a bit north of the beach and out from the cliffs because in among all the regular swell there was one spot where the waves reared right up and broke. Looked huge from the seated position, the boats were giving it a very wide berth.

Hey Spider...you wouldn't happen to have had a look at the forecast for Mon arvo and Tues morning ? Onshore wind kicks up a bit Mon 5 pm ish but Tuesday has a lot of light offshore at this stage. Last swell i looked at had it dropping off through that period. What's your opinion ?

Willy weather agrees with your assesment Monday morning would be the pick but both days look pretty good. Be a good chance to have a crack again out of Wallys or nunns.

Any/all of the above depending on what local fishing reports say at the time.

As Eoin said all could be a possibility depending on where the actions been. However Wally's would be my preference with Nunns as a backup depending on the weather.
