Hi guys!!
My name is Gaspard. I'm New on vyak and have been fishing ppb for the past 5 years recently bought a "2015 hobie outback".
As you can imagine i have a lot of fun on it spending sometimes full day or night on the bay.
looking to meet new people and parcipate to bream tournament I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself
So here i am!
My name is Gaspard, french pastry chef happy man enjoying eating, camping in the bush and the AUstralian life style.
About fishing, i have been flyfishing for trout in french streams.
I did as well a fair bit of travel around the world and always had a few rods with me and caught a few different fishes with many different techniques.
Here in the bay I mainly fish with soft plastic and occasionally bait and surf fishing at night
And when possible duskys and bream from gippsland too:)
Looking forward to go fishing with new people, new techniques, new spots and as well share my own knowledge with others.
That is pretty much it.
See you soon maybe.
Hi G'day everyone

Welcome! Put up a thread before you go on a fishing trip and you'll probably pick up a couple of fishing buddies/hangers on to wet a line with.

Welcome aboard and have you been introduced to the Goat Track on the border of Mornington & Mt Martha?
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Hi Gaspard;
Good to see you finally got to post on VYAK.
It was good to catch up with you yesterday. Pity the fishing was a bit slow.
You have a big advantage living so close to some of the nicest waters around 'the bay'.
Glad to know you are enjoying the aussie fish'n.
I didn't see any yaks out on the waters when I visited France last year.
Opposite to NZ, where every second person either owns a yak (for fishing) or a boat!
Keep safe and ask questions. There is lots of info and friends here.
Erik
PS Watchout for Maverick. He likes to get newbies down his Goat Track................................

Welcome to vyak!!
Enjoy and learn from here. There's many experts here just ask for pointers in which species location you want to hunt.
